Web Presence for Nonprofits is a passion project put together by Riley Martin, currently an MBA student at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. Being the youngest one on a board of directors for a local charity, Riley was automatically assigned to taking care of the charity’s web presence. As he soon finishes his term on the board and is moving away, he wants to ensure that the remaining directors will be able to carry on online in his absence; this website was birthed from this need of some sort of succession plan.

Riley has been a director for the South Okanagan charity Highway to Healing Support Society since its founding in 2013, and Treasurer of BC Wheelchair Basketball Society since 2014. He graduated with his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Finance in 2015 from Okanagan College and is currently completing his Master of Business Administration degree from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, expecting to graduate in August 2017. After that, he is aiming to attend the University of Victoria to earn a Juris Doctor of Law, starting in September 2018.
