Formatting

Clean and simple formatting is another important part of giving visitors to your site exactly the information they need in the best possible way. When you are editing your page, the toolbar (the red box in the picture below) is where you will find most of your formatting tools. This toolbar isn’t unlike the toolbar found in most word processing software like Microsoft Office, so you may be familiar with most of the buttons. Other buttons, such as my EasyColumns button in the green box below, are added on as plugins when your standard toolbar isn’t enough.

There are additional formatting options below and to the right of the content editor. You can change the layout of your page to include widgets or sidebars or not in the layout settings below, and if you want to change the template to a blog or archive, that can be done in the page attribute box to the right.
